People constantly workout for many different reasons, it is time that you learned the neuro-mechanical effect that exercise has on the brain. The brain is constantly pumping electrons from the cerebellum to the prefrontal cortex and everywhere in between, this takes an immense amount of chemical expenditure.

The fat blob that is your brain- not being rude, it is just the brain is somewhere near 25 percent fat, which wouldn't be terrible, but 70 percent of the remaining 75 is all water-constantly uses these chemicals to create electric pulses throughout the brain.

Some chemicals create different feeling than others. For example to of the most popular mood altering naturally occurring chemicals in the brain, adrenaline and adenosine are going to do exact opposite things.

Adrenaline is going to pump you up and create muscular development, and adenosine is going to make you sleep. Every different chemical has a different purpose when it comes to neurology.

Exercise is going to create and promote a lot of great chemical. First off when you exercise you strengthen your liver and kidneys which are essential in the synthesis of hormones throughout the body.

These hormones in many ways control different chemical reactions. For example, testosterone is going to have some similar effects to adrenaline.

So when you exercise and increase the strength of your liver and kidneys your body can create those hormones more easily and more properly. Apart from that the brain is going to be stimulated into making endorphins.

Mother Nature created a very nifty defense mechanism against resistance. All life requires resistance to develop muscle, so what good-ol Mother Nature did was caused the brain to release endorphins throughout exercise.

This is going to cause you to feel happy and tranquil even though your muscles are burning and your lungs are feeling close to caving in. So when you exercise you have an instinctive reaction on a neurological level to feel good.

That is why you never want to do any sport playing with a female otherwise you will end up feeling all twitterpated and probably get married to her. Apart from the chemical reaction in the brain that makes you feel good immediately after the exercise you also have the long term goal accomplishing gratification.

Accomplishing goals is the only way to find true joy in this life. Exercising is great way to set short term goals that do not span the whole timeline of your life.

Start exercising for the fun of it. Just see if you can stop once you get some momentum going.
