In one day there are approximately 24 hours within those 24 hours there are exactly 1,440 minutes and inside those minutes there are precisely 62,640 seconds, but you do not want to worry about every single second of the day. So, begin organizing your day by sectioning away the things you absolutely have to do: work, sleep, eat, those are the three necessities and the rest of the time is going to be purely discretionary.
Sleep is going to, and had better, take up a good solid eight hours which is the same as 480 minutes. Subtract that from the daily 1,440 and you are left with a healthy 960 minutes.
But of course you do have to take another 480 out for your eight hour work day, so now you are left with 480. That means there is still eight hours to do whatever the heck you want to throughout the day.
Say you are going to spend an absurd amount of on breakfast, lunch and dinner, that is three hours blown on some wasteful eating. If you are trying to be time effective then you will be able to scarf that food within a matter of ten minutes.
So eating can take from 30 minutes to 180 minutes. Either way you are still left with at least three hours of time to do anything you want to in the day.
What is it that you are spending that time doing? Watching boring Entourage, or are you watching a cool television show like Dexter?
If you just exercise for thirty minutes a day you can preserve your life by up to 20 percent. Besides preserving life it actually makes you more appealing in every way, shape and form.
So if you absolutely must watch one television program each day, then you can still have an hour for exercise twice as much than is necessary, and you will still have a good hour left over to read a book. That way you can study up on your pop culture, strengthen your physical fitness, and also increase your knowledge.
Here is a really tricky thing though, you could actually use the one hour space of time for the television program as an exercise/ pop culture study hour. Pop culture is easy enough to get without paying full attention, so it is agreeable to incorporate exercise with it.
Besides working, eating and sleeping you have a good five hours to do whatever you want. Why not use those hours to do something beneficial, that doesn't mean you can't ever play pointless games again, but don't.
