Inside the body is the glandular system also known as the endocrine system. This is the organ system that controls and regulates the hormones throughout the body, and, as you know, hormones are very useful for many different things in life.
Energy is very hard to come by for some people, and because of this many people never are able to find the energy they desire. The glandular system is composed of a few different organs, starting from top to bottom: the hypothalamus, the pituitary, the thyroid, the parathyroid, the thymus, the adrenals, the pancreas, and then the reproductive organs as well.
If you noticed that all of these organs help to create hormones then you are probably a pretty knowledgeable person and you might be a doctor. Most likely you didn't notice any similarities or patterns between these organs so it is best that you read about what they do here.
The pituitary gland is responsible for everything that the endocrine system does. It is like the brain of the glandular system and it is also located in the brain, go figure huh.
The thyroid just beneath the Adams apple is responsible for regulating energy throughout the body. Perhaps this is why people yell when they are very emotional, and perhaps this is why dogs bark because in some way it actually stimulates the organ and creates more of an energetic response.
Though that could all be a bunch of hullaballoo; it is obviously a mystery to everybody just why a dog barks. Then the third part of the endocrine system affected by the holistic practices is going to be the adrenal glands.
These help to regulate instinctive energy. Perhaps you are in a row with your affectionate other and you need some instinctive energy to really take the edge of the argument, well that is where the adrenal glands come in.
They will also help when you need to run from a dinosaur if you are a prehistoric Neanderthal, doubtful. A good exercise to stimulate all three of these organs without actually pushing your body to the brink of physical exertion would be gravitational resistance.
It sounds fancy because it is. There are a few ways you can get a good increase in gravitational load: flying a jet, sky diving, bungee jumping, and, if all of that is just too crazy for you, you can jump on a trampoline.
Simply jumping on a tramp is going to stimulate the endocrine system and create an increase in energy. Interestingly enough, it is also going to cleanse your lymphatic system and strengthen your circulatory system.
If you are looking to exercise for health, then jumping up and down is exactly what you need to be doing. Destry Masterson is a health, fitness and nutrition expert.
