There are many different causes for disease now a days, from the nine deadly toxins within your computer monitor that are slowly leaking into your eyes to the harmful rays of radiation from the sun that are constantly burning upon your tender skin. It is no question whether or not people should be actively concerned about their health, the answer is yes.
Don't be a little chicken about it or a Chicken Little rather, but just be aware of it and start acting to keep yourself fit throughout the day. Diet is a great way to stay fit, but for the most part everybody knows that.
It is no mystery that eating fruits and vegetables are going to help prevent cancer and other diseases. So keep that in mind and start eating healthy foods, perhaps it will even make you feel a little better and energetic throughout the day.
However, many people do not know that exercise is a great way to prevent disease. Just like a football coach would say, "The best defense is a good offense".
Fight the battle before it even happens is basically what those guys mean. They are just not literate enough to illustrate the point beyond the stretch of seven words; that is because they were hit in the head to many times back when they played high school football.
But you do not have to be an eloquent linguist to understand the benefits of exercise; all you need to do is experience them for yourself. When you exercise you are going to do a number of things for your body: pump the lymphatic system, excite the endocrine system and even stimulate the cardio system.
The lymphatic system is going to strain your body of toxins, like the ones being shot at you from your monitor right now. The endocrine system is going to regulate the hormones in the body, which will increase energy, metabolism, and help to keep you feeling good.
The cardio is going to do the most of all. It is the hearts job to push blood throughout the entire body.
What is so special about blood? It carries oxygen in its hemoglobin.
Hemoglobin, blood, oxygen, this may just seem a little bit weird now, but understand that every single cell in the body needs oxygen to survive. So that means the heart feeds every organ, every muscle, all the skin, and even the bones too with healthy oxygen.
When a cell is pumped full of oxygen it is immune to disease, so keep your body working for good oxygen constantly. Cardio exercise is the number one recommended exercise by doctors and physicians around the globe.
